My Experience Using Blog Software
I would certainly be one of those learners that any blog site might want to use to determine just how friendly a blog is for a beginner to use. I find it rather difficult to find my way around in wordpress to try to set some of the settings like who can view my blog or even looking for a way to attach a picture currently from my web cam. Google+ has me looking rather hard as well but so far it is a bit more friendly in helping me find and understand the different categories and settings that I need to fulfill my class expectations.
I do think in either, once an individual has learned what it is really all about, that blogs are great tools to use for education and for social activity. Where our union activity is concerned it is a great tool to use for discussions on what is happening on job sites, in the District and on an International level. It would also be a good creative tool, governed properly (meaning restricting language and remarks of any racial nature), in getting feedback from members, strangers, friends and family. Educational videos and training sessions of a general nature about unions could also be posted so that there is a greater public understanding of the need for and the productivity of unions.
For our class in learning how to use blogs the exercises are invaluable and I am trying to use somewhat of the method of teaching myself how to swim by just jumping in, but if I go down once more I may have to holler for someone, anyone to throw me a life ring. Now if that doesn’t have you crying for me then view the following video:
